Good news!

Remember when I said new episode this Friday...well I meant next Friday. I know, I know but regardless I've decided to make this a Biweekly project. This way I don't have to do any more rush jobs. So, expect the next show to be twice as long, with more segments, and much better than the first. Hope you all tune in next time!

We are now accessable!

The show has now been posted on podcast pickle, and podcast alley. I guess it takes a bit for itunes to get around to posting it but but I have registered. Also, I have this annoying little problem: If you google "the otaku momentum" the first thing that comes up is my old blog "Otaku Momentum". You know? With out the "the" part. Well, if you click it it drops you into a 404 page. I'll be setting up a rerouting like soon. Of course, if your reading this now you've found the blog through other means anyway so I guess it's not all that important anyway. As you can also see, e-mail is now up as well, and finally the next shows recording will be recording soon. I expect it up by Friday.

Ep.1:First show up!

Hey, sorry for the wait. Audacity took my first recording of the show and went BLAAARGGG! Throwing the recording all over my PC in several sound clips. So since then me Choleric couldn't find time to record again. Rather than wait around forever I just recorded it solo. Next time I'll have him on the show. Also anyone looking for this blog, I know it's a pain but if you try looking up Otaku Momentum Google will almost definitely give you a dead link to my old blog. So sorry for the confusion. I tried reaching them for help, but I think it's probably easier to get a hold of the President. I hope these growing pains are short lived. However in the meantime I hope you enjoy, as I review Excel Saga and Shangri-La.

gyaaahhh!!!

Hey again to whoever is reading this. Well I recorded the first episode and started editing it, was almost done and what happens? Well Audacity decides to shit all over itself. It saved the file as several sound clips all over my PC. So I'm re-recording it as I try to retrieve and reassemble the clips. However, the first time I recorded it was with my co-host Cholaric. However since then we've had quite a few incidents keeping us from releasing the first episode in a timely manner. So I'll just have to man up and shoot it myself! The first episode will be released shortly. I hope you all enjoy!

Podcast, Away!

After contemplating it for well over a year I've decided to start The Otaku Momentum Podcast. My name is Neokage. Long time anime geek, first time podcaster. I'm going to be hosting this Podcast and as far as I know I will be the only permanent host on the show. This doesn't mean I will be hosting alone however. I have a slew of guest hosts lined up. I also will be open to listeners taking the guest host position if they are interested ( I'll give details on that later.)

Anyway, I feel I should give a rundown as to what this show is going to be about. Pretty much the discussions will be on anything anime or anime related. Like most we have anime and manga news and reviews. One difference is we'll always have 2 reviews per show. One on a licensed title and one on an unlicensed title. Aside from that, somewhat randomly we'll have other segments such as the the "WTF!? moment", "Spoiler spotlight", and "It came from the Youtubes!" to name a few.

Of course this is just the launchpad. As the show moves on we hope to grow and evolve. Thanks in advance to all listeners and I hope you enjoy the Otaku Momentum!
